Being an Open and Distance Learning Platform, NIOS has the potential to provide education to those who are most marginalised. This policy aims to strengthen NIOS in realising its potential to become an effective educational platform for everyone - especially for women, girls and transgender, people with disability, persons from marginalised castes and learners in remote areas.en_US
