dc.description.abstractOn the 7th May, 1990 the Government of India announced the appointment of a Committee ‘to review the National Policy on Education (NPE), 1986’. Briefly, the basic concerns for this urgency in instituting a review even before the expiry of the stipulated period of five years was these three : 1- the Right to Work which is proposed to be enshrined in the Constitution 2- the unity and integrity of the nation that were seriously threatened 3- the impoverishment of the inner man in India.Eng
