Abstract: | Annual Report 2018-19 Samagra Shiksha /UEE Mission, Delhi Regarding Education plays a key role play in the development of society. Education is a tool which provides people with knowledge, skill, technique, information, enables them to know their rights and duties towards their family, society as well as the nation. It expands vision and outlook to see the world. Being educated is the biggest asset. Delhi shares its vision with Centrally Sponsored Schemes of Samagra Shiksha (SS) for providing accessible, quality and equitable education. The scheme envisages the ‘school’ as a continuum from per-school, primary, upper primary, secondary to senior secondary levels and subsumes the three erstwhile centrally sponsored scheme i.e. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education(TE). The common objective is to enhance quality school education, in terms of, equal opportunities for schooling and equitable learning outcomes through inclusion of marginalized groups and weaker sections of the society. |
