The Calcutta University First Ordinance, 1979

Abstract

In exercise of the power conferred by the Sub-Section (2) of Section 59 of the Calcutta University Act, 1979 (West Bengal Act XXXVIII of 1979), I, Ramendra Kumar Poddar, the first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calcutta, hereby cause, with the approval of the Chancellor and with the assistance of the Committee nominated -by the Chancellor by Notification No. 365-Edn. (U) ·dated 7.3.1980, under Sub-Section (2) of the said Section, the Calcutta University First Ordinances, 1966 (hereinafter referred to as the Fir!I~ Ordinances) to be amended.
