Abstract

The Annual publication “Puducherry at a Glance” is being brought out by the Directorate of Economics & Statistics keeping in view of the importance of data needs under various walks of society at large. Efforts have been made to incorporate the latest and updated information of different socio-economic aspects of Union Territory of Puducherry. The information furnished relates to the financial year or as otherwise stated. It provides an insight of the region wise information for assessing the inter-regional disparities and socio-economic indicators highlighting the certain developmental trends and progress in various sectors of the Union Territory economy.
