Abstract

The present issue of „Statistical Year Book of Imphal East District, Manipur 2015‟ is the second series of the publication. It presents the latest available numerical information pertaining to various socio-economic aspects of Imphal East District. Most of the data presented in this issue are collected and compiled by the officials of District Statistical Office, Imphal East under the overall supervision of the District Statistical Officer of the District. In order to present disaggregated level data as far as possible the data are collected from various District level offices of the Government/Local bodies. The source of data is indicated at the end of each statistical table. The present issue also contains the 2011 Population Census data (Final) of the Imphal East District obtained from the Directorate of Census Operations, Manipur.
