Information Handbook 1982-83 (Madras)

Abstract

This work of compiling and editing all the essential information relating to Technical Institutions in Tamil Nadu was first taken up by the QIP section of this department in the year 1980. It was also first published in the same year under the caption “Hand Book of Technical Institutions in Tamil Nadu”. It was thoroughly reviewed and revised in the next year adding some more new items and was retitled and published as “INFO 1981”. The present one is the third and updated version of the same for the year 1982-83. This edition includes district wise Technical Institutions, improved version of General Information and classified presentation of academic programmes etc. Adequate care has been taken in correcting the errors wherever pointed out.
