dc.description.abstractThe second Phase of the Programme proposed, started from April 2010, and closed in March 2014. The Project was open for competition and participation by all technical institutions across the country and was implemented as a “Centrally Sponsored Scheme” (CSS) with contribution from State Government in the manner of matching share. It was aimed at scaling-up and supporting ongoing efforts of Government of India (GoI) in improving, quality of technical education and enhance existing capabilities of the Institutions to become dynamic, demand-driven, quality conscious, efficient, forward looking and responsive to rapid economic and technological developments occurring both at national and international levels. It will have a clear focus on outcomes to improve the overall quality of existing engineering Programme.en_US
