While summarising the Evaluation Reports the emphasis has been to highlight the background against which the campaign was taken up, the objectives of evaluation, methodology followed and the findings etc. A perusal of these summaries will show that there is a need for greater degree of rigour in the conduct of evaluation and for this purpose DAE has already organised two workshops in collaboration with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Bombay, The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Calcutta and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, Evaluating agencies, selected resource persons and programme implementors and others.en_US
