| Abstract: | The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 casts certain obligations on the appropriate Government to provide certain facilities and services to PwDs. In consonance with the provisions of the Act, the Ministry of Social justice and Empowerment has been implementing a ‘'Scheme for implementation of Persons with disabilities Act, 1995 (SIPDA)" for providing financial assistance for undertaking various activities for PwDS. |
