Special efforts have 6een made to provide information of various measures/programmes undertaken By the State government fo r all round socioeconomic development and the achievements thereof through collated data made availa6le By different government (Departments, Organisations, Institutions and Jlgencies. The saCient feature of the State’s economy is discussed in <Part-I with reference year 2010-11 and num6er o f statistical taBCes on important economic sectors are incorporated in the appendix in (Part-II o f this issue
