| Abstract: | Distance Education in the form of correspondence courses was started in India in the early sixties to be followed by home studies and the open education system hut no attempt was made to survey these facilities and to assess their contribution to the cause of education. An attempt for the first time has been made in this volume to present detailed information about the actual position of the various courses under distance education mode. |
