Abstract

The Plan as already outlined in the 10th Plan document will continue to be increased productivity in agriculture and expansion of irrigation facilities especially minor irrigation, creation of more and more employment opportunities both in urban and rural areas, acceleration of the process of industrial development with special emphasis on development of cottage and small scale industries, strengthening the social infrastructures of the State through proper implementation of its Health and Education Policies. Providing basic education to the children and ensuring sanitation are also states priority areas.
