dc.description.abstract | To achieve rapid expansion in the higher education sector and to raise the Gross Enrolment Ratio, the State Government considers it necessary to invite Private/ self-financing sector's participation in the higher education sector. While the State government will continue to provide financial support to the higher education sector in the State, its efforts can be supplemented by private investors in the creation of infrastructure and in the dissemination of higher education. Where desirable and feasible, the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode can also be used for achievement of the targets set. | en_US |
