| Abstract: | In pursuance of provisions of Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995, Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare notified the West Bengal Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Rules, 1999 vide No. 2101-SW/1A-14/97 dated 8th July, 1999. The said rules have been amended time to time. The latest amendment has been notified to simplify the Certification Procedure of the Persons with Disabilities vide No. 9835-SW/1A- 14/97Part-I.-27th December, 2011. |
