dc.description.abstractThe college started publishing a peer reviewed bi-annual academic journal, Intellectual Resonance in 2013. This year the college has been awarded 3 Innovations Projects by University of Delhi while last year the college had successfully completed 2 Projects out of which one was selected for special display at Antardhwnai 2014 titled Symphonies of Nature: Folk songs from Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir: Dr. Devika Narula and Dr. Vinita Chaturvedi (English) and Dr. Amrit Kaur Basra (History). Dr. Smita Banerjee (English), Dr. Rajiv Goel (Commerce), Dr. K. Suresh Kumar (History) and Dr. Deepti Taneja (Economics) have completed their PhDs in 2013-14. Mr. Rajesh Kumar (Political Science) has been awarded a fellowship by the National University Singapore to pursue his doctoral research. Mr. Bir Singh (Economics) is pursuing his PhD. from CESP, JNU. Ms. Geetanjali Kala (Journalism), successfully completed a second masters from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London with distinction. The Foundation project on ―Hidden Monuments of Delhi‖ by Aditya Kumar Gupta, Chaitnya Modgill and Adil Sethi was selected for an award at Antardhwani. Three DCAC students were awarded the LEADearth Fellowship which is a Teri TETRA PACK Fellowship. We are the only college in the Delhi University whose three students, Prerna Sood, Manav Seth and Shaurya Patel have been awarded these projects. Amongst the five projects TERI selected from Delhi, DCAC bagged one called R Cube-generating awareness for converting waste from a challenge into opportunities and E 3-Generating awareness for environmental issues. Karan Kumar was part of the South East Asian Economics student contingent who went to Pakistan for the South Asian Economic society meet.en_US
