Abstract

“Statistical Abitract, U. P.” is an annual publication of the Economics and Statistics- Division of State Planning Institute, U.P. and is published regularly since 1961. It incorporates the five yearly figures of social and economic developmental programmes undertaken in the State with the district-wise break-up for the latest year. This publication is found vary useful to study the trend of State’s economic development and for plan formulation. This is a bilingual publication but due to certain problems in it’s timely publication, a combined issue for the year 1981-82 and 1982-83 was cyclostyled in Hindi to reduce the time lag and to facilitate the timely availability of the latest data.
