Report of The UGC Expert Committee to Review The Proposal of Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut for Converment of Deemed to be University Status Under De-Novo Category Under Section 3 of The UGC Act, 1956

Abstract

The Committee visited SIET on January 24-25, 2006 and in its report recommended that Shobhit Institute Engineering and Technology, Meerut, may be considered for the grant of Deemed to be University under de novo category provisionally subject to the confirmation after 5 years. The Committee also made some suggestions with regard to academic programmes and research activities of the Institute.
